Der Akku von Eddy ist ein versteckter Lithium-Ionen-Akku mit LG-Zellen. Eines der wichtigsten Merkmale des Akkus ist, dass der Akku über einen doppelten Stromschutz verfügt. Dadurch besteht keine Gefahr einer Explosion oder Verbrennung. Die BMS-Überwachung (Battery Management System) schützt den Akku vor Überladung und Überhitzung während des Ladevorgangs.
 
Der Akku ist 48V 14Ah 672Wh für JOBOBIKE EDDY, er kann geladen werden, während er sich im EDDY-Rahmen befindet, aber wir können ihn auch herausnehmen und an eine Steckdose anschließen, und er ist für 800 Ladezyklen ausgelegt.
