Gelesen im Herbst 2023 wurde der Grundwein im Juni 2024 mit Champagnerhefe versetzt und noch einmal zur Grung gebracht. Nach 1,5 Jahren

Der Grundwein für diesen Schaumwein besteht aus 100% Souvignier Gris Trauben, eine großartige, neue (Piwi) Rebsorte, die bei uns vor allem in der Kamptaler Riede Steinberg (der Name ist Programm) wächst. Sie hat etwas "Burgunderhaftes" und immer eine schöne Säure. Da kam uns die Idee, daraus einen Schaumwein zu machen. Gelesen im Herbst 2023 wurde der Grundwein im Juni 2024 mit Champagnerhefe versetzt und noch einmal zur Gärung gebracht. Nach 1,5 Jahren traditioneller Flaschengärung ist er nun bereit für den Genuss. In der Nase Trockenobst, Nüsse und ein Hauch von Brioche, im Geschmack eine schöne Reife gepaart mit einer schön eingebundenen Säure und einer feinen Perlage. Passt hervorragend für jede Feier, aber auch als Speisenbegleiter, speziell auch bei Nachspeisen.
