Der Kofferträger Lock-it von HEPCO & BECKER für das Modell NX 500 (Baujahre 2024-2025) zeichnet sich durch seine robuste Bauweise aus. Dieses Produkt besteht aus hochwertigem deutschen Stahlrohr und präzisionsgefertigten Laserteilen, die an besonders beanspruchten Bereichen zusätzlich verstärkt wurden.

Ein wesentliches Merkmal dieses Kofferträgers ist die Möglichkeit, ihn schnell und ohne großen Aufwand zu montieren oder zu demontieren. Die integrierten Lock-it Schrauben ermöglichen es, den Träger mit nur einer viertel Umdrehung zu lösen. Danach lassen sich die Seitenteile einfach entfernen. Für zusätzliche Sicherheit kann der Träger mit speziellen, abschließbaren Lock-it Schrauben ausgestattet werden, um Diebstahl vorzubeugen.

Die Befestigung der Koffer erfolgt über ein Halteschloss, das direkt am Koffer angebracht ist. Die dafür notwendigen Schlossadapter sind in der Regel im Lieferumfang der Koffer enthalten. Diese Adapter werden am Träger montiert und bieten so eine sichere Verbindungspunkt für die Kofferschlösser.
