Because now you have the NeaterHeater, a magnetic heater element holder for two heaters that attaches firmly to your sump or aquarium using our ModMag ultrasonically sealed magnets.
Since they first hit the market, there have not been significant improvements in magnetic heater holder designs. You may think you have seen a heater mount before, but trust us, there is no comparison. Here’s why.
First, the NeaterHeater ModMag attachment design removes the biggest risks present with other heater holders on the market — suction cups or shoddy magnets. One leaves your heaters loose to damage themselves or other equipment the other will inevitably get the dreaded rusted magnet that so often crashes reef tanks.
The ModMag on the Neater Heater is made from durable, inert, pliable ABS plastic that is ultrasonically welded and double-sealed against water intrusion – using no glue. The two pieces of its enclosure essentially become one when assembled and then pressure tested. And, should you ever worry that water somehow has intruded – just give them the “Shake Test”. This feature of the ModMag always lets you test that your magnet is still safe and dry inside the enclosure. We are so confident in our magnet system we gave it a lifetime warranty!
Heaters mounted in the NeaterHeater are firmly held in place by the patent-pending Slide-Loc® silicone system. Just slide in the heater and it’s held in place with simple friction. No thumbscrews to get stuck, break off, or crack your heaters. Also provided are two adapters enabling you to add an additional ModMag set to form a single, stronger bar.
But it doesn’t stop there, the ModMag that attaches the NeaterHeater are also multi-purpose. It has slots, both inside and outside the aquarium, where a full ecosystem of optional accessories can be mounted.
