Das Dry Creek Valley AVA in Sonoma County ist seit langem bekannt für seine intensiven und vollmundigen Zinfandel-Weine, die aus vielen der alten Reben der Region hergestellt werden. Dies ist zu einem Spezialgebiet des Dry Creek Vineyard geworden. 1982 nahm der Winzer Duff Bevill, der Leiter des Weingutes, Stecklinge von einem Präprohibition-Zinfandelgut bei Geyserville. Nach vielen Jahren des Anbaus dieser jungen Reben war es dem Weingut in 1997 gelungen, junge Reben zu züchten, die intensive, konzentrierte Trauben produzierten, welche normalerweise mit sehr alten Reben assoziiert werden. Ihr Heritage Zinfandel ist das Ergebnis dieses langwierigen Forschungsprozesses und besteht aus dem Zinfandel sowie bescheidenen Mengen an Petite Sirah und Carignane, um zusätzliche Komplexität zu schaffen. Der Geruch zeigt dank der 14-monatigen Reifung in französischer Eiche berauschende Aromen von dunklen Beeren und süßen Gewürzen, während der erste Schluck einen vollen, weichen Körper mit abgerundeten Tanninen offenbart. Die satten Geschmacksnoten von dunklen Kirschen und Brombeeren werden durch eine subtile Säure balanciert, was diesen Wein zu einer sensationellen Begleitung zu Rindereintöpfen oder einem erstklassigen Steak mit Pommes frites macht.Shipping Notes

Washable quality paper plates

We've used these paper plates for years for all kinds of things and find them to be really sturdy and washable. With a pleasant design that fits any decor, they are wonderful for everyday use. An elegant workhorse!

I hate washing dishes so I use these Dixie plates a lot and they are STURDY. They will carry a whole meal without wilting. The rim is deep enough that, should you be so inclined, you could eat ice cream out of them without any dripping or drooping worries. So something like spaghetti or lasagna would be easily handled. I now buy them 150 at a time because they're so handy and that way more economical. I use them instead of a cutting board sometimes. And they just feel the right weight, not too heavy, not too light. For a picnic or a walking-around party they would be the best for preventing spills. But what I enjoy is their versatility. You can even rinse them off and use them again if they've had light use. And the current pattern is cheerful too!!
