Yalcindag, der in der Türkei aufwuchs, entwickelte seine Bildsprache vor fast 20 Jahren als Student von Hermann Nitsch und Thomas Bayrle in Frankfurt. Sein feiner, pastoser Farbauftrag, der mit einem Pinsel der Stärke null ausgeführt wird, erfordert einen enormen Zeitaufwand und führt zu einer reliefartigen Malerei, die sich aus Hunderten kleiner Flächen aufbaut. Dass Yalcindags Farbauftrag an den der amerikanischen Farbfeldmaler erinnert, verwundert nicht, führt man sich seine intensive Auseinandersetzung mit der Minimal Art vor Augen. Die Publikation bietet erstmals eine Analyse seiner originären Werkentwicklung und Bildsprache. These are great!

I've had these for about a year year and a half and I really like them this morning the salt shaker broke, so I just ordered another set (they're not sold individually) to replace the one that broke. If you should happen to drop them on the floor the plastic top will crack!!

Great addition in my kitchen

I really like these grinders. They are perfect size. I use them for other seasonings that I want to grind up for marinating or cooking. They are adjustable so if I want larger or smaller grinds, easily do-able. Great value for the price. They look nice and are easy to use. Also easy to clean.

This grinder appeared to work great and is one of the few ceramic options available. Unfortunately, the ceramic grinder has already broken inside, detaching from the bottle altogether. There are probably tiny plastic pieces in my leftover peppercorns. Don't buy it unless you want to purchase it every few months, which is unfortunate.
