Die alle zwei Jahre in einer anderen europäischen Metropole stattfindende Manifesta hat nicht umsonst den Ruf inne, ein ausgewiesener Ort für Kreativität und Innovation zu sein. Dafür steht vor allem das Vorprogramm ein, das 2018 in Palermo erprobt wurde und nun 2020 in Marseille fortgeführt wird. Winy Maas’ Architekturbüro MVRDV und The Why Factory (t?f) wurden beauftragt, mit den Methoden der artistic research und neuester Datenanalyse den Stadtraum zu erkunden. Es entstand ein Kompendium sozialer, kultureller, ethischer, religiöser und geografischer Strukturen. Damit soll aber nicht nur ein Status quo beschrieben, sondern ein Prozess angestoßen werden, der auch weit über die Manifesta hinausgeht, um die urbane Zukunft Marseilles zu bereichern. Diese Publikation erlaubt es, selbst Zuschauer und damit Teil dieses Projekts zu werden.Dieses Buch ist auch auf Französisch erhältlich.
MVRDV wurde 1991 gegründet und ist eines der derzeit erfolgreichsten niederländischen Architekturbüros mit Sitz in Rotterdam. Neben Winy Maas gehören Jacob van Rijs und Nathalie de Vries zu den Mitbegründern. Ihr Markenzeichen ist der besondere Einfluss experimenteller Formfindungen in der Architekturplanung.
Maas leitet darüberhinaus THE WHY FACTORY (T?F), ein Forschungsinstitut, das die Entwicklung der Stadt untersucht und Zukunftsmodelle entwirft.

Great wrist rest. Smooth finish, good looks, and ideal wrist angle.
This wrist rest sets you up for pretty optimal, level height to prevent future wrist problems. I went with the nice reddish/brown color as it matches my brown wood Edifier speakers and other brown accessories very nicely. Nice matte finish that avoids showing finger prints and skin oils. The color is perfect, not too red or too brown.
Keep in mind if your keyboard is angled in the front it will leave a bit of a gap, however it is unnoticeable to me. Also, make sure your arm rests of your chair can come high enough to meet the half inch or so thick wrist rest. My arm rests are a bit low for the time being so some extra pressure is put on my arm behind the wrist when resting on the chair supports.

Not for me
Color: Golden Oak, Size: Mouse Wrist Rest
It's tough to review something like this that functions perfectly, but just wasn't the right fit. The Glorious wrist rest for the keyboard is perfect and exactly what I wanted/needed, but the mouse rest caused hand and wrist pain. I swapped it out for a squishy alternative and that worked much better. I have a theory it might have been due to the relatively low height of my ektecity gaming mouse relative to the mouse rest. My keyboard is a higher height and that may be why the wood keyboard rest works so much better.

True-to-photos color, solid build, and great for organizing
Color: 2Pcs Green
Durability: This tray feels well-made and sturdy. I replaced a fragile tray that shattered when it fell, and this one feels like it would hold up far better to normal day-to-day handling. I am not going to stress-test it, but it feels substantial and nicely finished.
Use and ease of use: It does exactly what a tray should do. It is easy to carry, stable when set down, and the woven leather surface feels secure and helps keep items from sliding around.
Color: The green woven leather matches the website photos. No surprises, no weird undertones. It looks clean and high quality in person.
Organization: This is where it really shines for me. It is a great fit for corralling items on a table, counter, or dresser and instantly makes things look more intentional. It is not stackable, but it is not advertised as stackable either, so that is fine.
Size and accuracy: The dimensions match the schematics online, which I appreciated. It fits the space I bought it for exactly as expected.
Overall, it looks high-end, feels durable, and is a simple upgrade if you want a tray that helps keep a space organized without feeling flimsy.
