Der Stifthalter Horst wird in den Müriker Werkstätten für Menschen mit Behinderungen traditionell und manuell gefertigt. Die Handwerkskunst ist einzigartig und wird nur noch von wenigen Bürstenmachern angewendet. Die verwendete PET Faser in verschiedenen Farben wird aus recyceltem Kunststoff hergestellt. Der Werkstoff ist sehr formstabil, abriebfest, kälte- und hitzebeständig(-20 und 120 Grad). Die Grundkonstruktion aus Buche hat einen festen Wollfilzboden um die Oberfläche des Schreibtisches zu schützen. Die kunterbunten Borsten bringen Farbe in den Alltag und motivieren zum Arbeiten. Zahlreiche Stifte oder Scheren werden griffbereit gehalten und können schnell gefunden werden. Der Durchmesser des Stifthalters - Horst beträgt 10 cm, die Höhe ca. 9 cm.
