Das 3-teilige Paddel aus superleichtem 100% 3K carbon lässt sich superschnell bewegen und fliegt förmlich übers Wasser. Das charakteristische Merkmal des neuen Alpha Paddles von Season ist die Anti-Twist-Verbindung im Griffteil und die Hexagon Verbindung vom Mittelteil zum Schaufelelement. Diese beiden Verbindungen stellen sicher, das sich der Paddelgriff nie drehen wird. Dazu kommt die enorme Kraftentfaltung, durch die angepasste Flexhärte des runden Shaftes. Obwohl das Alpha 96 ein 3-teiliges Carbon Paddel ist, fühlt sich der Paddelzug sehr direkt und steif an. Das Paddel ist mit nur 575g sehr leicht und dadurch wunderbar leicht über Wasser zu bewegen. Man spürt das Paddel kaum in der Hand, was die Bewegung vom Exit bis zum Catch, aber auch den Seitenwechsel sehr vereinfacht.
Bei einer normalen Kadenz von 45 Schlägen pro Minute, bewegt man das Paddel 2700 mal pro Stunde. Jedes mal, will das Paddel aus dem Wasser gezogen und ganz nach vorne bewegt werden. Ebenfalls sind rund 15% der Bewegungen ein Seitenwechsel, der noch einmal etwas mehr Hub bedeutet. Wenn man nun das Gewicht addiert, bewegt man bei einem handelsüblichen Fiberglass-Paddel jedesmal rund 300g mehr als beim Alpha 96. Das sind ca. 900kg mehr pro Stunde!
Carbon Paddels sind nicht nur Hochleistungs-Paddel, für Sportpaddler, sondern sie sind auch die richtige Wahl für leichtere Paddlerinnen und Paddler, da enorm viel Kraft eingespart wird.

I was looking forward to my textbook which arrived in great condition. I needed to activate the ebook and it was a disaster. I could not redeem my code for unclear reasons, I called the number in the textbook which took me to an India location, answered by someone who could not enter my e-mail correctly, and ended having to create a ticket. I was told I had to wait 24-48 hours to resolve the issue. I called the Editorial company and they were not able to help stating it was not their issue. It has been very frustrating.
I bought 6 medical books from Elsevier, all of them redeemed as I received them, immediately activated. No hassles at all. Big difference in services between editorial companies and digital resources

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOOK.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not purchase if you intend to use the Access Code. I was very careful to scratch off the Access code, but you can see it was still unreadable. I went to the website and submitted a ticket. One option for a reason to submit a ticket is 'unreadable access code", so they know this is a problem. They ask for a photo of the code and a receipt of purchase. I sent both. Then they asked for proof that the book was purchased NEW. This was not noted on the Amazon invoice. I was instructed to reach out to the vendor for the additional info. Or I could spend more money on another access code. There are other study options available.
