Als Basis dienten dem Designer und Messermacher klassische japanische Formen, die er an europäische Ansprüche angepasst hat. Das Resultat sind Produkte, die allen Ansprüchen in der modernen Küche genügen. Die Klingen sind aus rostfreiem japanischem High-Carbon Steel im Gesenk geschmiedet. Der optimale Mix aus Chrom- und Kohlenstoffanteile ist der Garant für die sehr scharf ausgeschliffene Klinge. Diese Legierungszusammensetzung garantiert hohe Rostbeständigkeit, gepaart mit Härte und guter Schärfbarkeit. Der Stahl bietet die idealen Eigenschaften für Küchenmesser mit hohem Gebrauchswert in der Gastronomie und für den täglichen Einsatz in der heimischen Küche. Die Messer sind sehr scharf geschliffen. Die ergonomischen Tecaran-Griffe und der ausgeprägte Fingerschutz erweisen sich als bestens geeignet für den Einsatz auch bei den hohen Anforderungen in der gastronomischen Profiküche. Die ovale Form der Griffe erlaubt ein geschmeidiges Arbeiten - jedes Messer liegt perfekt in der Hand. Neben dem hohen Gebrauchswert bestechen die Messer durch ihre zeitlose Eleganz. Der edle schwarze Griff ergänzt sich optisch hervorragend mit dem matten Finish der gro en Edelstahlnieten und des Griffabschlusses. My main issue with the book is the lack of non-american stories that explained the bigger picture. As a former Blizzard dev, there's much more than what happened in Irvine and Korea, with Europe's office mentioned almost as a footnote, and nothing else from the other regional stories. Shame but I guess the book would've been double the size.
