Nase

Boris Champys Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Altitude 2020 wirkt ungemein frisch und duftig mit Noten von Sauerkirschen, Zimtkirschen, Himbeeren und saftigen Pflaumen sowie mit ein wenig Orangenabrieb und Vanille. Das Holz, das Champy nutzt, ist von bester Qualität und ganz dezent, aber mit einem Ausrufezeichen eingesetzt.

Gaumen

Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Wein vom ersten Moment an köstlich, lebendig, klar und frisch. Er ist geprägt von roten und dunklen Beeren, von Kirschen und einer frischen, lebendigen Blutorangenfrucht sowie von einigen Cranberrys. Verbunden wird das mit dem umwerfend eleganten Holz, einem Hauch von Rappen, die zusammen mit dem Tannin Festigkeit verleihen. Es ist ein geradezu elektrisierend lebendiger tonischer Pinot Noir mit feinem Salz im Finale, einer wunderbaren Säurestruktur und viel Energie, anspruchsvoll und doch unkompliziert, balanciert und ein Burgunder im besten Sinne.
