Die Vorteile dieser technisch uerst

Custom Vespa Projekt auf Basis einer fabrikneuen PX Karosse im Wideframe "Lampe unten" Style, angelehnt an unseren Superlow Series 50`s Racer.
Neben verschiedenen individuellen technischen Lösungen haben wir hier erstmals einen Vespa Smallframe Motor in einen Largeframe Rahmen implantiert - verwendet haben wir einen BFA 288ccm-Motor mit speziell für diese Konstellation angefertigtem Scooter & Service Auspuff.
Die Vorteile dieser technisch äußerst aufwendigen Konstruktion sehen wir vor Allem in der geringeren Baubreite des Smallframe Motors und in der Möglichkeit, den Radstand deutlich zu verlängern: Im Vergleich zu einem BFA 306ccm Largeframe Motor haben wir etwa 50mm Baubreite nach rechts eingespart und einen um 30mm längeren Radstand realisieren können - der 130er Breitreifen läuft dabei ohne jeglichen Spurversatz. Neben der wesentlich verringerten Rechtslastigkeit bei geringerem Gesamtgewicht des BFA 288 Motors ergibt diese Konstellation einen deutlich verbesserten Geradeauslauf dieser Vespa bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten mit einem insgesamt verbesserten Handling. Der 288ccm Motor läuft mit einem 30mm Vergaser und dem breitbandigen Auspuffsystem mit Geräuschdämmung im Straßenbetrieb sehr homogen und mit ziviler Geräuschkulisse - mit dem früh einsetzendem Drehmoment und einer maximalen Leistung von 42PS am Hinterrad ist das verbaute BFA 5-Gang Getriebe eher ein technisches Gimmick als ein notwendiger Bestandteil des Motorsetups.
