Unter der Arbeitsfläche befindet sich eine ausziehbare Schublade, in der Handschuhe, Bindedraht oder Saatguttüten verschwinden, statt lose herumzuliegen. Die Rückwand aus vertikalen Latten schützt vor Wind und verhindert, dass Kleinteile vom Tisch fallen. Darunter bietet eine offene Lattenablage Platz für größere Gegenstände wie Gießkannen, Übertöpfe oder Säcke mit Pflanzerde.
