Die Klinge des Dämmstoffmessers von Fiskars gleitet mühelos durch verschiedene Materialien. Sie verfügt über eine Sägeblattzahnung und arbeitet sowohl auf Schub als auch auf Zug. Das macht sie zum perfekten Schneidgerät für Dämmstoffplatten aus beispielsweise Fasermaterial, Schaumstoff, Polystyrol, Filz oder Pappe sowie vielen weiteren Materialien. Die Klinge ist aus rostfreiem Stahl gefertigt, dadurch ist sie sehr stabil. Der Griff ist ergonomisch geformt und liegt besonders komfortabel in der Hand des Benutzers. Ein angenehmes Arbeiten ohne Ermüdungserscheinungen wird dadurch ermöglicht. Des Weiteren besitzt das Fiskars Dämmstoffmesser einen speziellen Fingerschutz am Griff, der ein Abrutschen der Finger während der Arbeit verhindert.
