Dank seines natürlichen Ölgehalts ist das Holz sehr langlebig, wind- und wetterbeständig und wird weder von Insekten noch von Fäule befallen. Mit der Zeit verfärben sich Teakmöbel, die Sonne und Regen ausgesetzt sind, wunderschön silbergrau.

Unsere Teakholzmöbel für den Außenbereich halten jedem Wetter stand und können das ganze Jahr über im Freien stehen. Die Holzbretter unserer Gartentische sind mit geringem Abstand zueinander angeordnet, sodass sich das Holz je nach Witterung ausdehnen und zusammenziehen kann.

Bei Sika-Design verwenden wir ausschließlich hochwertiges Teakholz aus Indonesien für unsere Teakholzmöbel. Unsere Teakholzprodukte für den Außenbereich werden aus Plantagen-Teakholz hergestellt, das mit dem indonesischen „Legal Wood“-Siegel gekennzeichnet ist. Die indonesische Regierung überwacht die Teakholzbeschaffung und stellt sicher, dass kein zu junger oder zu kleiner Baum gefällt wird.
