Circa Waves melden sich mit dem zweiten Teil ihres neuen Doppelalbums Death & Love zurück – ab sofort als Gesamtwerk mit 18 Tracks auf CD und Doppel-Vinyl vorbestellbar!

Death & Love Pt. 2 beginnt mit der neuen Single „Cherry Bomb“ – ein lässiger Indie-Hit mit Strokes-Vibes, verspielten Strophen und einem süßen Refrain über die eine Person, die immer für einen da ist. Das Video wurde von Gitarrist Joe Falconer selbst gedreht.

Teil 1 erschien im Januar 2025 und thematisierte einen Neuanfang nach einem gesundheitlichen Tiefpunkt: Frontmann Kieran Shuddall musste sich Anfang 2023 einer lebensrettenden Herz-OP unterziehen. Die daraus resultierende kreative Explosion ließ schnell einen zweiten Teil entstehen.

Beide Alben wurden von Shuddall selbst produziert und in London aufgenommen – zwischen einem Freundesstudio in Finsbury Park und den legendären RAK Studios, wo zeitgleich Green Day und Muse arbeiteten („Ich hab Billie Joe Armstrong auf der Toilette getroffen!“).

Teil 2 bringt die optimistischere Perspektive – mit Songs über Liebe, Lebensfreude und das Überwinden dunkler Zeiten. Von der hymnischen Eröffnung „Lost In The Fire“ über das gefühlvolle „Stick Around“, verträumte Pop-Perlen wie „Sunbeams“ bis zum psychedelischen Finale „Wave Goodbye“: Circa Waves liefern einmal mehr den perfekten Soundtrack für Aufbruch und Eskapismus.

The only downfall is when she got to the marrow part it stained my light sheets. I replaced them with darker sheets and there is no trace of the bone. Overall a really great toy for all sizes of dogs!

Durable, Flavorful, Chew Toy

This bacon flavored scorpion shaped dog toy has been a huge hit with my Labrador. The material feels extremely durable and appears to be made from a hard nylon that can stand up to serious chewing. At first, I was skeptical about the bacon scent because I couldn’t smell anything when I opened the package. The moment my dog started chewing on it, though, the bacon scent became much more noticeable. Anyone else who doesn’t smell it immediately shouldn’t worry because it definitely seems to activate once the toy gets some use. My dog is an enthusiastic chewer and has not been able to destroy this toy. Even better, I haven’t seen any meaningful signs of wear, gouging, or damage despite repeated chewing sessions. That level of durability is exactly what I was hoping for. The design also includes areas where treats can be added for extra enrichment, which adds even more value. Most importantly, it has seemed very safe during use, and I haven’t had to worry about pieces breaking off. Overall, this toy has been durable, engaging, and well worth it. My dog loves it, and I love having a chew toy that can actually survive more than a few days.
