Wichtiger Wartungshinweis: Sobald die benötigte "Presszeit" etwa 25–30 Sekunden erreicht, ist die Reinigungspatrone erschöpft und sollte ersetzt werden. Bei sehr trübem Wasser mit vielen Sedimenten oder Tanninen verringert sich die Lebensdauer der Patrone entsprechend.

Anwendung & Schutzwirkung

Das Prinzip ist denkbar einfach: Das äußere Gefäß im Fluss oder Wasserhahn füllen, den inneren Filter mit Kraft nach unten drücken – fertig. Dabei werden 99,99% aller Viren, 99,9999% aller Bakterien und 99,9% der Protozoen (wie Giardia oder Kryptosporidien) eliminiert. Gleichzeitig verbessern Aktivkohle und Ionenaustausch den Geschmack und filtern Schadstoffe wie Chlor und Blei.

For the price, the quantity felt underwhelming, and that ultimately led me to return it.
