Das Abenteuer spielt im Wirtshaus zum schwarzen Keiler in Gratenfels, wo die Spielercharaktere in einen dramatischen Konflikt mit dem tyrannischen Herrscher Baldur Greifax geraten. Das Abenteuer ist speziell für Anfänger und Neulinge konzipiert und bietet einfache Regeln, um den Einstieg in das komplexe DSA-Regelwerk zu erleichtern. Es fokussiert sich auf die ersten Heldengruppen der 1. Stufe ohne Magie oder Magier und verwendet dabei ein Würfelkampfsystem mit einem zwanzigseitigen Würfel (W20).

Das Gruppenabenteuer besticht durch eine hohe Kampflastigkeit und bietet eine spannende, erzählerische Erfahrung, die sich ideal in den Spieleabend mit Freunden integrieren lässt.
