    Die erste echte Leichtbau-Felge auf dem Modern-Vespa-Markt kommt von SIP PERFORMANCE! In Zusammenarbeit mit einem Profi aus der Felgenentwicklung ist es gelungen, das Gewicht im Vergleich zum Originalteil um fast ein Drittel zu reduzieren. Dennoch erfüllt die Felge sowohl nationale als auch internationale Festigkeits- und Lebensdauernormen.

    Die Felge MK II markiert einen technologischen Meilenstein unter den Felgen für Modern-Vespas. Ein kompromissloser und äußerst aufwendiger Entwicklungsprozess war notwendig, um diese Felge mit einem Minimalgewicht im Vergleich zu den Mitbewerbern auf den Markt zu bringen. Zweiräder, die mit unserer Felge MK II ausgestattet sind, fühlen sich spürbar agiler an und reagieren aufgrund der geringeren ungefederten Massen fahrwerksseitig präziser.

    Optisch signalisieren die schlanken fünf Doppelspeichen, dass weder Material noch Bauraum verschwendet wurden. Erstmals im Vergleich zu jedem SIP- oder Piaggio-Design konnte die Felgenmitte vertieft gegenüber dem Außenrand gestaltet werden. Diese konkave Form wirkt optisch ansprechend, fast so, als hätte die Felge eine positive Einpresstiefe.

    Der SIP-Sicherheitsstandard für die Entwicklung neuer Felgentypen beinhaltet Belastungstests und eine offizielle Abnahme durch das Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA). Selbstverständlich entspricht auch unsere MK II Felge den neuesten Richtlinien. Das erfolgreiche Testen nach deutschem Standard (StVZO) resultierte in einer Anerkennung durch das KBA in Form einer allgemeinen Betriebserlaubnis (ABE) für die Verwendung als Vorderrad. Doch SIP hat darüber hinaus weitergetestet und sichergestellt, dass die Felge auch als Hinterrad den Anforderungen anderer internationaler Standards, wie z. B. denen Japans, entspricht.

    Die Felge ist für folgende Reifengrößen zugelassen: 120/70-12 oder wahlweise 130/70-12.

    Die Felge MK II kann sowohl vorne als auch hinten montiert werden. Theoretisch passen alle Reifen bis zu einer Breite von 140. Für die Montage der Felge als Hinterrad wird diese Buchse benötigt. Fahrzeuge mit ABS und Tonrad für den ABS-Sensor können mit dem SIP Montagekit umgerüstet werden. Fahrzeuge mit ABS müssen nach einem Reifenwechsel kalibriert werden; bitte siehe dazu die Fahrzeugbedienungsanleitung.

    A Revolution of Faith and Freedom
    Format: Hardcover
    Eric Metaxas’s Revolution: The Birth of the Greatest Nation in the History of the World presents the American founding as far more than a political dispute over taxes or power—it is portrayed as an epic struggle between liberty and tyranny, virtue and corruption, good and evil. Through vivid storytelling and rich historical detail, Metaxas casts the Revolutionary era as a moral drama in which ordinary men were called to extraordinary courage against overwhelming odds in their fight for freedom. The book compellingly shows how patriots like Samuel Adams, Patrick Henry, John Adams, Abigail Adams, Benjamin Rush, James Otis, Henry Knox, Paul Revere, John Hancock, Thomas Paine, George Washington, Martha Washington, and others, understood the conflict not merely as resistance to British overreach, but as a defense of God-given liberty against arbitrary, and often brutal, power. A particularly striking theme throughout the book is the Founding Fathers’ deep reliance on Divine Providence. Metaxas highlights how many believed that human rights flowed not from kings or governments, but from God Himself, and that the outcome of the Revolution ultimately rested in His hands.     A New Classic
    Format: Kindle
    I pre-ordered, so I was able to get the PDF and start reading early. Of all the books I own on the American Revolution, I think this one stands to become my "go to." It is encyclopedic in scope, but deftly avoids becoming a drudgery or a slog through a mire of textbook facts. Somehow, Eric has managed to include a great deal of detail without losing any of the drama. It’s the story that rises to the fore in a gripping tale that just happens to be true (and much more than that, is our heritage). All the trademark “Metaxas” hallmarks are here: judiciously placed humor and lightheartedness that never descends into silliness, seriousness that somehow never lacks in winsomeness, depth that never smothers. He manages to portray both the soberness that the subject deserves without losing the hopefulness that the story of the Revolution should inspire in us. And along the way, you’ll find yourself better understanding what “went down” and (just as importantly) what it means to you today. Excellent work. If you think another history book on the American Revolution cannot inspire you or keep your attention, this one is up to the challenge.

    The History Teacher I Always Wished For

    A witty, learned page-turner, replete with wacky anecdotes but suffused by wisdom and patriotic love. Metaxas shows how the biblical view of the human person made America possible, and weaves throughout the story pieces of evidence that Providence actively aided the pious patriots against their cynical, post-Christian enemies in Britain. I devoured this book in 72 hours, and now I want to go back and read it again.
