Der in Berlin lebende Künstler arbeitet mit den klassischen Medien Zeichnung und Ölmalerei ebenso wie mit Video-, Ton- und skulpturalen Installationen, die er in seinen Ausstellungen oft kombiniert. Für seine Arbeiten verwendet er gefundenes Material – Bilder aus Politik, Showbusiness und Werbung –, löst es aus seinem ursprünglichen Zusammenhang und überträgt es in eine gänzlich neue Realität. Durch die Konzentration auf Bilddetails wird das Vertraute fremd, oft entstehen rätselhafte, ja verstörende Werke, die sich immer wieder auch auf dramatische Ereignisse zu beziehen scheinen.Das durchgehend farbig bebilderte Buch gibt mit einem einführenden Text von Ralph Rugoff erstmals einen umfassenderen Überblick über das Werk von Johannes Kahrs und schließt dabei auch neueste Arbeiten ein.

I bought this because it works great with my DeWalt battery.
My driveway was overgrown and it locked up a couple of times which I'm assuming is a safety feature. Once I got the driveway cleaned up it works just fine.

My favorite E edger so far.

For a battery powered unit, it was much better than I expected. Powerful enough to do everything in my yard. It beats even some of my previous good gas ones.
I did my whole large front yard with a little more than one battery. Pretty good, actually.

Does a good job, and works pretty well. Took weeks to have it delivered.
Works pretty well, seems to be slightly underpowered. I think it would work better if the soil here were drier. The shroud around the blade would probably not jam up with dirt if the soil here is drier. I was constantly having to remove the battery and using a screwdriver to remove the dirt from the shroud. The shroud would work better if it was larger. There is an adjuster that lowers a metal guide that fits up against the concrete that helps you to keep the blade right up to the edge, make sure to lower that guide into place. The 20 Volt Max batteries I used are hard to insert and remove, but mine are aftermarket batteries, and another tool I own is also hard to insert and remove the same batteries.
