Bubbe Rosas Beziehung zur Stadt ist vielschichtig – nichts ist mehr so, wie sie es erinnert, grimmig blickt sie auf die Welt um sich herum. Während ihres gemeinsamen Wegs tauchen Bubbes Erinnerungen an ihre Kindheit in Deutschland und ihre Ankunft im Brooklyn der 1950er-Jahre auf. Stück für Stück ergibt sich so ein Bild von Bubbes Leben, das erklärt, warum sie so mürrisch ist. Auf dem Heimweg finden Bubbe Rosa und ihr Enkel Benni einen neuen und wunderbaren Zugang zu den je anderen Leben und die Möglichkeit, sich darüber auszutauschen. Eine sehr einfühlsame Geschichte, die vom Wandel, vom Loslassen und Zueinanderfinden erzählt.ZIGGY HANAOR ist Autorin und Verlegerin von Kinderbüchern. Dies ist ihre erste Graphic Novel. Sie lebt in London.
BENJAMIN PHILLIPS arbeitet in seinem Atelier in Hastings als Illustrator und Künstler mit verschiedenen Medien. Neben der Illustration von Büchern hat er auch für die New York Times und das British Council gezeichnet. 2023 wurde er von der Bologna Kinderbuchmesse ausgezeichnet.

Nice choice for after shave oil

I couldn’t wait to try this after shave oil after using Vogcrest’ facial trimmer (which works wonders also!) on my eyebrows and other areas this afternoon. The smell isn’t loud as anticipated, though it is like an earthy scent but it doesn’t stick after the oil dries. As seen in the video, the consistency isn’t too thick to be applied to the face, or anywhere else after shaving. I put it on my hand to give an idea of the absorption and consistency. It rubs in easily and settles in the skin nicely. I’ve tried others that are too thick, or leave like a sticky after feel, which this doesn’t. Glad I tried this out! I look forward to seeing if it slows the regrowth or not. May come back & update.

I like it
Great after-shave product. It deeply moisturizes the skin and even makes my tattoo look more vibrant and defined. I haven’t noticed any significant effect on slowing hair growth yet, but it completely prevents irritation and leaves the skin feeling smooth and comfortable.
For the price, it’s an excellent product and definitely worth trying.
