Der 3.0 Liter V6 Biturbomotor (M 276 DE 30 AL) der Mercedes 43 AMG Modelle ist mit einem indirekten Ladeluftkühlkreislauf ausgestattet. Der Kühlvorgang der Ladeluft wird demzufolge durch einen wassergekühlten Ladeluftkühler realisiert, welcher durch den WagnerTuning Hochleistungsladeluftkühler ersetzt wird.

Der WAGNERTUNING Hochleistungsladeluftkühler besitzt ein neuartiges Performance Netz mit den Abmaßen 222 mm x 297 mm x 95 mm. Dies wurde speziell für die hohen Ansprüche des 43 AMG Motors entwickelt und bietet 133 % mehr äußeres Netzvolumen gegenüber dem originalen Ladeluftkühler. Das dabei eingesetzte Verhältnis zwischen innerer- und äußerer Kühlfläche generiert eine maximale Wärmeübertragung und ermöglicht zeitgleich bestmöglichen internen Luftstrom. Die Aluminiumguss Endkästen wurden im CAD konstruiert und unter Zuhilfenahme von CFD Simulationen optimiert. Das Resultat sind hervorragende Kühleigenschaften bei geringstem Gegendruck. Somit ist dieses Kit auch für den Rennsport geeignet. Eine optimale Kühlung der aufgeladenen Luft mit deutlichem Leistungsanstieg!

Alle WAGNERTUNING Ladeluftkühler sind mit einer wärmeleitenden Anti-Korrosionsbeschichtung ausgestattet, sodass eine dauerhafte Kühlwirkung sichergestellt wird. Auch die Montage des System ist mit Hilfe unserer Einbauanleitung unkompliziert und plug & play durchführbar.

Finally a Cooling Blanket That Actually Works for Hot Sleepers

I first got to know this brand when they released their cooling pillow. At the time, I was very skeptical because I’ve tried many “cooling” pillows and pillowcases from other brands, and almost all of them failed to stay cool throughout the night. Surprisingly, this brand was the first one that actually worked for me. Going through menopause has been extremely difficult, especially dealing with the constant heat and night sweats. I kept thinking that if they could somehow use the same cooling technology in a blanket, it would be amazing — and they actually did it. This blanket has honestly been a lifesaver for me. One side has the cooling fabric while the other side feels more like a regular blanket, so you can switch depending on the temperature or season. I’ve been using a silk comforter before this, and while it was comfortable, it really didn’t help much with overheating at night. This cooling blanket made a noticeable difference almost immediately. What impressed me most is that the cooling effect doesn’t just disappear after a few minutes. It stays comfortably cool and lightweight through the night without feeling damp or overly thin. Since using it, I’ve actually been tracking improvements in my sleep using my WHOOP device, and over the past 20 days I’ve noticed my deep sleep readings improving consistently. The blanket also feels well made, soft, and lightweight without feeling cheap. For the quality and performance, I think the price is very fair, especially compared to other “cooling” bedding products that overpromise and underdeliver. If you struggle with hot sleeping, night sweats, or menopause-related heat issues, I would absolutely recommend giving this a try. It genuinely improved my sleep quality.

Great blanket for keeping cool, but doesn't magically defy physics.

This blanket is pretty awesome, and functions exactly as stated; however you might get the wrong impression from the image of the blanket in a the snowy mountains glowing blue as if its actively cooling. The blanket has two sides, the "cold" and "normal" side -- the cold side is the one that has the Q-max 0.45 effect, it actually feels cool to the touch. That being said, covering yourself with this blanket feels pretty similar to using a down blanket with a silk (or some cooler) fabric. It feels quite cool initially but eventually your body puts out enough heat and it "runs out" of cooling. Although this blanket doesn't magically actively generate cooling, its quite effective because it operates fundamentally differently from most blankets. Most blankets are engineered to keep you warm by trapping heat in; this blanket is explicitly designed to draw heat away from your body. As such, it is extremely effective if you use a fan or run the AC, because your body heat is drawn away from the top surface and the inner surface can "grab" and remove more heat. As you probably know, air is a great insulator so this blanket has to be making contact with your body to achieve the cooling effect. If you are familiar with the way "Under Armor" works, I believe this blanket uses a similar principle to keep you cool. This blanket is quite light weight and comfortable, with a very silky (polyester) feeling outer surface. I have not owned this for a year yet, but I'm quite confident that this blanket would be suitable for winter (in Southern California); except if you live in a snowy region. 5/5 for a somewhat high tech blanket that keeps you cool; its the best in cooling you can get without resorting to "active" cooled blankets such as ones with water circulation.
