Mit dem Ziel dem RAM 1500 eine seiner Leistungsklasse würdige und kraftvolle Aussprache zu geben, haben wir eine Klappensportauspuffanlage der Spitzenklasse entwickelt. Das Ergebnis ist ein in Handarbeit und komplett aus Edelstahl gefertigtes Meisterstück deutscher Ingenieurskunst, das unvergleichbar in Klang, Performance und Qualität ist. Ein Unikat, eine passgenaue Lösung exakt für die Gegebenheiten Ihres RAM 1500.

Das Wichtigste bei einer Sportauspuffanlage, der Klang, ist jederzeit über alle Zweifel erhaben. Unsere Klappensportauspuffanlage bietet sonoren Klang mit Gänsehaut-­Garantie in Reinkultur. Ist Ihnen das immer noch zu brav, dann schalten Sie mit einem Knopfdruck die Klappe frei und beeindrucken das Gehör der Insassen durch einen klar sportlich-aggressiven und kernigen Off-Road Sound. Wie jede Klappenauspuffanlage von NAP verfügt auch diese über eine Taste im Cockpit, mit der Sie die Klappe bequem, auch während der Fahrt, öffnen und schließen und so den Klang einstellen können.

NAP Automatic Valve Control

Unser Klappen­auspuff wird von der NAP Automatic Valve Control gesteuert. Die elektronische Kontrolleinheit NAP-Valve-Control ist das Gehirn unserer Klappen-Auspuffanlagen. Weil die NAP-Valve-Control Einheit Canbus-Signale lesen kann, die von der ECU des Motors kommen, stellt sie sicher, dass Sie immer gesetzeskonform unterwegs sind, gleichgültig welcher Modus gerade anliegt. Das System ist an die von der EU vorgegebenen Parameter gebunden. Falls notwendig interveniert es sanft und nahtlos. Die elektronischen Klappen werden per NAP-Taste im Cockpit von sportlich komfortabel auf einen kernigen Rennsportsound umgeschaltet.

  • Für unsere Produkte verwenden wir ausschließlich hochwertigen V2A Edelstahl, der eine starke Korrosionsbeständigkeit aufweist und auch bei täglichen Beanspruchung langfristig funktional und optisch überzeugend ist.

Zulassung: Prüfzertifikate (EG 540/2014)

Für die gesetzeskonforme Verwendung unserer Anlage ist eine Eintragung in die Fahrzeugpapiere durch Ihre Zulassungsstelle erforderlich.

Wir kümmern uns um alle notwendigen Unterlagen, d. h. wir liefern sämtliche Prüfzeugnisse nach neuester Vorschrift ((EG 540/2014) für eine reibungslose Homologation.

Das für die Eintragung erforderliche Gutachten (§ 19 StVZO) müssen Sie als Einzelabnahme bei einer amtlich anerkannten Überwachungsorganisation wie z. B. der GTÜ durchführen lassen.

WIG Schweißverfahren

Wir verwenden für dieses Produkt ein zertifiziertes WIG Schweißverfahren mit Formierung. Dabei schirmt ein Edelgas die Schweißnaht von außen und gleichzeitig von innen vor Sauerstoff-Einfluss ab. Durch den Luftabschluss wird eine spätere Oxidation (Rostbildung) der Schweißnaht verhindert. Gleichzeitig erreicht man eine wesentlich höhere Festigkeit der Schweißnaht im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Verfahren. Dabei ist die Schweißnaht sehr flach (minimale Schweißwurzel). Damit erhält Ihr Motor eine optimale Abgasströmung ohne Verwirbelungen und somit herausragende Leistungswerte mit bestem Klang.

Einbau

Lieferung mit benötigtem Montagematerial – keine Schweißarbeiten notwendig.

  • Auf dem Schalldämpfer eingravierte Produktionsseriennummer
  • Die verwendeten Klappen sind sehr hochwertig und dem Druck des Motors gewachsen – kein Klappern.
  • Hauptrohrdurchmesser 3″ (76 mm)
  • Material-Stärke 1,5 mm, um höhere Steifigkeit für den Off-Road Einsatz und größere Resonanzstärke für den V8-Sound zu erhalten
  • Geschlossene Konstruktion – Abgase werden durch die Endrohre abgeführt.
  • Vorschalldämpfer ist durch ein Abgasrohr ersetzt.

Endrohrauswahl

Statt dem Serien­endrohr setzen wir auf Endrohre mit abgeschrägtem Design und einem Durchmesser von 130 mm. Die Edelstahl Endrohre sind doppelwandig. Diese spezielle Konstruktion ermöglicht das Ableiten extremer Hitze von den äußeren Spitzen, wodurch ein Ausglühen der Endrohre vermieden wird. Auf diese Weise behält unsere Sportauspuffanlage ihre hochwertige Optik über die gesamte Lebensdauer der Anlage, welche deutlich höher ist als bei der Originalanlage aus Stahlbauteilen.

Endrohre in Version “Edelstahl poliert” sind mit einer NAP Logo Lasergravur veredelt.

All Gotchas, Gimmicks, and Grief
My husband broke the item in question, which was a Chemex coffee maker made of nothing but glass. It shattered full of coffee, so like a normal human he cleaned up the dangerous mess and threw it away. I put in a claim, and it said that I had to ship back the product. Believing that the Asurion process was as simple as stated, and reading the agreement that does mention that sometimes they'll require shipment of the item, but that they will review cases and use reasonable judgment, I contacted their chat, explaining that the requirement that I mail them a wet pile of shards of glass soaked in coffee (and a little bit of blood) was unsafe and unreasonable. I don't even know how I could do that in a way that would be safe for the people opening the packaging, or even to take it to the store. The shards of glass might puncture any plastic, and the wetness would soak through, plus there's the biohazard issue. Seems silly for a $47 product replacement to me. I figured any human would understand. First chat associate closed my case without even responding to me. I had to reopen it. The second one told me, "Yes, that is how your warranty works" as an answer to my "Hello, the last chat closed without me talking to anyone." I tried to explain the situation, and was told "If you call the hotline, maybe they'll help you." I call the hotline. The first person tells me tough, I have to mail it. I say it was thrown away. He says "AHA then it's lost! Your warranty doesn't cover lost things!" I say no, it's not lost, it was disposed of properly as shards of glass should be. I finally ask can I speak to someone else or a supervisor. He lies and says yes. I sit on hold for 20 minutes, never any wait time or any sort of indicator of when someone will talk to me. The phone call quality finally gets very horribly staticky, so I hang up and try again. Hallelujah, I get a decent human being who immediately says, "Oh, no, that's not reasonable! That is an unsafe thing to have to mail. I'll send it to the override department who should approve this because it's obvious that's not a normal thing to expect." Today I get an email that says: We can't approve your claim. We reviewed your NO SUPPORTING MANUFACTURER COFFEE MAKER claim. The product in your claim is not covered by your plan. As a result, we're unable to approve your claim. Nothing about the requirement to mail a biohazard, just the item isn't covered even though the item is absolutely covered. While I understand that loss prevention is important, this is a very small potatoes return and it isn't like I made this up. It would be easy to make me happy. I'm sure it has cost them more money to deny it than they would have lost covering the Chemex. I've bought multiple of their product replacement policies before. I never will again. They didn't offer for me to send a picture or anything. They just wasted hours of my time and sent a clearly AI-based answer, rather than treating me like a valuable customer.
