Shadowgate: The Living Castle is a 2-4 player board game based on the Macventure, Kemco NES, and the 2014 remake video game, Shadowgate. Here you explore Shadowgate, the living castle, discover relics and spells and complete legendary missions. Players can choose from eight characters with their own unique class, traits and skills, and then use these characters to compete for XP (experience points). For every item you equip, every quest you complete, every djinn riddle you answer, and every monster you defeat, you earn XP. Compete against other players to assemble the legendary Staff of Ages. Only then can you confront the Warlock Lord, fulfill the prophecy, and be crowned High Lord of the Westland!
