Alle, die auf die Piste gehen - ganz gleich, ob der Wettergott es gut mit ihnen meint oder nicht - haben mit dem Mach1 MV 120 TD einen echten Performer, der speziell für Skifahrer mit durchschnittlich großen Füßen entwickelt wurde. Mach1 steht für höchste All-Mountain-Leistung und garantiert präzise Passform, maximale individuelle Anpassung und direkte Kraftübertragung auf den Ski. Der neue Mach1 LV 120 TD bietet die gleiche Performance wie unser Spitzenmodell mit 130er Flex, hat jedoch einen etwas weicheren Flex. In diesem Jahr haben wir den 120er Flex erstmalig mit T-Drive-Technologie kombiniert. Das bedeutet, durch eine Verbindung des Schaftabschlusses mit der Schale werden die Stabilität und Leistungsfähigkeit des Schuhs bei den unterschiedlichsten Temperaturen grundlegend verbessert, was ein längeres und ermüdungsfreieres Fahren erlaubt. Dank der jetzt noch anatomischer geformten Innenschuhe und Schalen bietet dieser Schuh schon bei der ersten Anprobe eine bequeme Passform. Bei Bedarf kann die Passform mit dem C.A.S.-System von Tecnica noch weiter an die Fußform angepasst werden. Ambitionierte Skifahrer werden die Schale mit asymmetrischer Kraftübertragung sehr schätzen, wodurch die gesamte Kraft direkt in den Schwung geht. Wer eine schnelle Runde nach der anderen drehen und dabei auf Präzision und Komfort nicht verzichten will, macht mit dem Mach1 MV 120 TD alles richtig.

Great little temper

Works great! Only problem is that it doesn’t have that feel of tamping. Wish I had more feedback. It just goes down very easily and doesn’t have that feeling of solid tamping. Now that doesn’t mean it’s not doing its job. Works fine but would like some manual feedback.

Take the guess work out of the flow!

I got this because when my wife makes espresso, it's watery. When i make it, it's fine. We needed a controlled Tampering method so we both do the same job.
This is heavy, and being able to use the whole hand instead of fingers, not much effort is needed.
Since we purchased this, we were able to make consistent espresso shots for sure.

Not as good as I expected
When it first came, the box fell apart as I was taking it out, and a lot of some kind of dirt or sand kept falling out all over my table and floor. I had the take the entire thing apart and thoroughly wash it.
After drying age reassembling it, I tried it on my portafilter that came with my Breville Barista Express, but, somehow, it doesn't always make the tamping level. You would think with the ridge that rests on the side of the portafilter that it would force it to remain level, but, somehow, it doesn't, at least not consistently. It also has varying lengths (heights, or depths), and a single spring tension, so you may still over tamping or under-tamp. I was expecting it would have a censor that would just detect once it reached 30 lbs of force and cut off after that, similar to a torque screwdriver, but that's not what this is.
I'll still give it 3 stars because, despite the problems mentioned above, it at least produces some amount of consistency, even if that isn't measurable; but, I can't give it 5 stars because of those issues mentioned above.

This is the one.

As an el Supremo Coffee Geek, I've wasted money on lots of different tampers. Save your money and buy this one or it's equivalent. This thing is heavy duty, solid, well-made, self-leveling, tamps at 30 pounds and is fool-proof even for fools. Also, it's a palm tamper meaning more fun and more satisfying to use as you prep the puck for your morning buzz. Buy it. You will thank me.
