Das Doppel-Waffeleisen von BBQ-Toro ist die ideale Ergänzung für jede Grillküche und ein wahres Must-have für alle, die gerne beim Camping oder Barbecue kreativ werden. Mit diesem praktischen Waffeleisen zaubert man im Handumdrehen knusprige, goldbraune Waffeln.

Vielseitigkeit steht hier im Mittelpunkt! Das Waffeleisen eignet sich nicht nur perfekt für süße Waffeln und Eierspeisen, sondern auch für knusprige Toasts und herzhafte Teigtaschen, die man in den rechteckigen Formen zubereiten kann.

Die Gusseisenform ist bereits vorab eingebrannt und sofort einsatzbereit. Dank des robusten Gusseisens kann man die Waffelform problemlos direkt ins Feuer oder auf die heiße Glut legen – für ein authentisches, rauchiges Aroma und perfekt gegarte Waffeln.

Dank der beiden 18 cm langen Stiele liegt das Waffeleisen sicher und bequem in der Hand, ohne dass man Gefahr läuft, sich zu verbrennen, und bietet mehr Kontrolle und Sicherheit beim Backen.

Mit dem traditionellen belgischen Waffelmuster zaubert man im Handumdrehen köstliche, goldbraune belgische Waffeln, die nicht nur durch ihren einzigartigen Geschmack, sondern auch durch ihre charakteristische Struktur begeistern.

 

Infos zum Einbrennen
Diese Gusseisenform von BBQ-Toro ist bereits eingebrannt und kann sofort genutzt werden. Falls ein erneutes Einbrennen nötig ist: Reinigen Sie hierfür die Form mit heißem Wasser. Reiben Sie diese anschließend mit geschmacksneutralem, pflanzlichen Fett (z.B. Kokosfett) ein. Legen Sie das Waffeleisen kopfüber, eine Stunde bei 200 °C in den Backofen, oder besser draußen in einen heißen Kugelgrill. Verreiben Sie verbliebenes Fett. Fertig. Diese Behandlung regelmäßig wiederholen, damit sich die Poren füllen und das Gusseisen optimal vor Rost geschützt wird.

Infos zur Reinigung/Pflege
Für die Reinigung reicht heißes Wasser - gröbere Speisereste mit einer Bürste abschrubben. Benutzen Sie niemals Seife oder scharfe Reinigungsmittel. Diese zerstören die Fettschicht und die Backform muss dann neu eingebrannt werden (siehe oben). Heben Sie im Waffeleisen keine Speisereste auf. Entfernen Sie Asche umgehend nach der Benutzung, da dies sonst in Verbindung mit Feuchtigkeit Rost begünstigt.

Infos zur Aufbewahrung
Mit gutem Speiseöl einfetten und in Küchenpapier legen. So übersteht das Waffeleisen auch längere Aufbewahrungszeiten spielend.

Nice light saber handle with some room for a cigar lol
I'll go straight to the point: this cigar tube is great! I really like the material, it's made of thick aluminium and it's design is both classy and nerdy at the same time, it looks like a jedi light saber handle lol The hygrometer seems to be accurate, close to my other ones, it's a nice extra functionality. The size of the tube is big enough for my largest cigars, so all good here. I recommend it, either as a gift to yourself (because you deserve it!), or father's day, or any good occasion!

won't fit Churchill length or 60-ring diameter cigars

This is a good-looking device, solidly built, with a handy twist-out punch in the top and a humidity gauge in the bottom. The hygrometer is pointless, because there is no way to add anything to actually maintain the humidity, and since I would only use it to bring a cigar to a gathering, it really does not need to maintain that humidity for the 20-minute drive. What really bugs me about this is the actual useable size. I primarily smoke 2 types of cigars, 54-ring Churchills (which are 7") and 60-ring Gorditos (which are 6"). Although the overall length of this is 8 1/4", the listing never mentions the interior space, which seems to be just under 6 1/2" when closed. My Montecristo sticks out about 1/4" when I insert it, and that does not take into account the 1/4" that the top pushes into when closed (that silver-colored area is solid), thus less than 6 1/2" useable length. Even out of the wrapper, my 60-ring Gorditos sticks when I try to push it in, so I'd have to take off the band(s) to force it in, and it would not slide out very easily, so I would mangle the cigar trying to get it out. So, this can hold a cigar that is 6" or less and maybe 54-ring without the wrapper. Anything else, and you would have to force it in and force it out. So, this unit, while very good looking and well built, does not work for my cigar needs.
