Das zeigt sich in ihrem einzigartigen Blick, mit dem Straßenszenen auch immer zu tiefen Einblicken in die Persönlichkeit der Abgebildeten und ihrer Zeit werden. Und es zeigt sich in ihren fantastischen Porträtaufnahmen von Berühmtheiten wie Albert Einstein, Woody Allen oder Lauren Bacall. Auf unnachahmliche Weise scheinen sie Momentaufnahme und Pose miteinander zu verbinden, um den Star in seiner Rolle und zugleich als eigene Person zu zeigen. Zum 100. Geburtstag feiert dieser Bildband das Schaffen Orkins mit einer ebenso umfassenden wie faszinierenden Werkschau der Ausnahmekünstlerin.RUTH ORKIN (1921–1985) studierte am Los Angeles City College. Als freie Fotografin erschienen ihre Aufnahmen u. a. in Life, Look und Ladie’s Home Journal. Für den Film Little Fugitive (Der kleine Ausreißer), den sie 1953 mit ihrem Mann realisierte, wurde sie mit einem Oscar ausgezeichnet. World Through My Window (1978) heißt ihr bekanntes Fotobuch.

The Best Protein Drink I've Ever Had!

These are hands down my favorite protein shakes. I’ve tried quite a few different brands over the years, but I honestly don’t drink any other protein drinks now besides these. The chocolate flavor is absolutely delicious and tastes much better than most protein shakes I’ve had.
They’re smooth, not chalky whatsoever like other protein drinks, and have a great balance of sweetness without tasting artificial. The high protein content is also a huge plus for post-workout recovery or a quick meal on busy days. I always keep these stocked in my fridge and restock every other week!

Delicious!

I’ve tried a lot of protein shakes and this one is hands down my favorite choice. It tastes like a delicious glass of chocolate milk, without being overly sweet the way some other protein drinks are, and the texture is perfect - neither chalky nor too thick. Some folks don’t like the sugar in the ingredients list but for me, 42g of protein in 230kcal is a godsend for meeting my daily macros. And it’s lactose free so zero issues with digestion. I use a little in my morning coffee as a coffee creamer and drink the rest with breakfast - a great and easy way to start my day with a good amount of protein.

Great Protein Source

Low calories, tastes awesome, good ingredients, convenient to throw in my backpack because it is resealable and doesn’t leak. Price is a bit high, however, the protein content is some of the highest I’ve seen.
I drink at least 2 of these a day and have a case pack set up for auto renew every 2 weeks.
