Maison S.T. Dupont, in collaboration with master jeweler 2Saints, has hand-crafted the magnificent tattoo collection. Fashioned from bronze with a yellow gold finish, each pen features engraved koi fish and both the S.T. Dupont and 2Saints logos on the finial. The Koi Fish edition is limited to 88 numbered pieces in each color.

According to Japanese and Chinese mythology, there was once a school of thousands of koi fish swimming up the Yellow River in China, attempting to reach the top of a waterfall. After 100 years, one intrepid koi managed to leap to the top of the waterfall, and the gods turned it into a beautiful golden dragon as a reward for its dedication. To this day, it is thought that any koi that possesses the strength and dedication to complete the journey up the falls—now known as Dragon's Gate—will become a heavenly dragon.
