19th Century Antique French Louis XV Bureau de dameA great quality French rosewood Bureau De Dame. The top of the bureau has a nice brass gallery above a fall front, decoratively inlaid with marquetry, opening to reveal a fitted interior consisting of two drawers, a muted green leather writing surface and a well also known as a secret compartment. The bureau stands on elegant shaped legs terminating with ormolu mounts at the feet. This piece is in very good condition Dimensions Width 65. 7cm Depth

Condition report
In fantastic antique condition throughout with some signs of age. A slight bit of veneer has come off but hardly noticeable.. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, fading and stains to the top , further marks and scratches to the sides, front and interior.
The antique bureau remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. The Overall, a great example of its kind. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!
