An all-star line up of handcrafted wines from Tiki Wine that perfectly capture the essense of the 'Koro' range.

Working with vineyards from around New Zealand to source the best wines for this, our most exclusive Tiki range, our KORO wines have been individually handcrafted from grapes harvested at optimum ripeness and made in very limited quantities.

Collection includes:

2 x Tiki 'Koro' Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay 2018

AWARDED 5 STARS: Michael Cooper, Dec 2019
AWARDED 93/100 POINTS & 5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Feb 2019
AWARDED 92/100 POINTS: Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sept 2019

"Wonderfully fruited and fragrant, the bouquet shows golden peach, rockmelon, vanilla and cedar characters, leading to a succulent palate that is fleshy and rounded. The wine offers terrific fruit intensity together with stylish oak nuances, backed by bright acidity and creamy mouthfeel. Delectable and highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2022" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Feb 2019

A delicate, pale straw green colour in the glass. Exhibits a very strong combination of Mendoza Chardonnay fruit, complex toasty oak and yeast lees along with subtle malolactic fermentation aromas. A full-flavoured Chardonnay delivering clear varietal flavours supported by a fullness and creaminess derived from extended time on yeast lees in barrel. Full malolactic fermentation has helped to soften the wine and add complexity of flavour that is supported by a smoky oak background from the barrel-aging.

Food Pairing: Perfect with seafood with rich cream-based sauces or roast chicken. For a speciality cheese match try Parmesan, Aged Cheddar or Aged Gouda.

Alc: 13.5% - RRP $35

2 x Tiki 'Koro' Waipara Pinot Noir 2016

AWARDED 94/100 POINTS & 5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jan 2018
AWARDED 94/100 POINTS: Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, 2018
AWARDED 18/20 POINTS: Raymond Chan, Dec 2017
AWARDED Silver MEDAL: Sommelier Wine Awards, May 2018

"Richly fruited and beautifully expressed, the bouquet shows dark berry, game, black olive and toasted almond characters. The palate is equally attractive, displaying excellent fruit concentration and weight, wonderfully enhanced by supple mouthfeel and fine tannins. The wine offers elegance as well as loads of delectable fruit flavours. At its best: now to 2020" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jan 2018

Bright dark cherry red in the colour in the glass with a richly fruited nose that is beautifully expressed. The bouquet shows dark berry, game, black olive and toasted almond characters. Displaying excellent fruit concentration and weight, wonderfully enhanced by supple mouthfeel and fine tannin. The wine offers elegance as well as loads of delectable fruit flavours.

Food Pairing: Pinot Noir can be enjoyed with an extraordinary variety of dishes. This wine is best suited to full-flavoured dishes such as venison with savoury sauces, roast duck or a pork loin served with potatoes and herbs.

Alc: 14.2% - RRP $40

2 x Tiki 'Koro' Hawke's Bay Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

AWARDED 93/100 PPINTS & 5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Dec 2017
AWARDED 94/100 PPINTS & 4 STARS: Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Jun 2019
AWARDED 4.5 STARS: Michael Cooper, Mar 2020

"Bright, moderately rich red with berry, plum, chocolate/mocha, liquorice and spicy oak flavours. A smooth-textured and quite complex red that's good drinking now but should develop nicely with further bottle age" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Jun 2019

A deep garnet red colour in the glass. Ripe aromatics of plums and dark fruits with a smoky, oaky tannin complexity. The Merlot, that dominates the blend, contributes a plumminess to the fruit spectrum while hand-crafting using French oak has added palate and aromatic complexity. The palate is richly textured and finishes with great length of fine, structural tannins that are a hallmark of the sub-region.

Food Pairing: This wine can be enjoyed with an extraordinary variety of dishes but is best suited to full-flavoured food such as braised lamb shanks or slightly charred barbecued beef.

Alc: 13.5% - RRP $40

Considering it's used: GREAT!
Format: Hardcover
It was used but in great condition considering. It had a bit of minimal wear on the front cover but the pages were totally fine. The seller was honest in the listing. Also, got the package safe and in reasonable time. Good product. Totally worth it if you are looking for a good book for cheap and still in good condition.
