Reproduction of Intersect I by Albena Hristova
Albena Hristova — "Intersect I" is a compelling example of contemporary textural abstraction that draws from the legacy of mid-20th-century Color Field Painting while forging a distinctly modern sensibility. The work aligns with the broader movement of abstract expressionism in its emphasis on materiality and the physical presence of paint, yet it departs from the gestural intensity of its predecessors by embracing a more restrained, meditative approach. Hristova’s use of layered washes and subtle textural variations creates a dynamic interplay between color and surface, where the application of pigment becomes a central narrative. The composition is structured through an asymmetric balance, with large fields of cool blue and white intersecting in a way that suggests both movement and stasis. This interplay of form and negative space evokes a sense of calm and introspection, characteristic of the modernist ideal of achieving visual harmony through simplicity. The color palette, dominated by varying hues of blue and white, is not merely decorative but functions as a psychological tool, evoking the coolness of water and the vastness of the sky. This deliberate use of a limited, cool-toned palette enhances the work’s serene quality and underscores its connection to the natural world. Hristova’s technique, which involves the careful layering of translucent media, creates a luminous effect that shifts subtly with changes in light and viewing angle, adding a dimension of depth and complexity. The work's interpretive significance lies in its ability to transform the abstract into a deeply personal and universally resonant visual experience, where the interplay of color, texture, and space invites the viewer to contemplate the quiet beauty of the natural world and the subtle rhythms of existence. For more art by Albena Hristova click here.

This works fine, but not as well as other time release melatonins. Recommend you do a time release with a higher level of melatonin. Round shape is more difficult to swallow

Happy w/ quality of second purchase
I recieved a beautiful copy of Ethan Smith's 2nd Edition (1825) of View of the Hebrews. This edition includes the fascinating Quetzalcoatl... aka "Christ in America" content that I was looking to study.
***E. Smith's belief that biblical prophesy and cultural "evidences" prove that the Native American tribes found by the Europeans (Gentiles) were descended from the lost Tribes of Isreal. This narrative is later expounded on in the 1830 Book of Mormon***
I re-ordered this book in paperback version. This softcover version was not a photocopy of the original book as was the case when I ordered the hardcover version some time ago. Fantastic readable quality this time around!
Original Hardcover Review:
Poor photocopied pages. I opened the nice hard cover... I can read the words- but the book's pages are messy in a gross, unthoughtful way. The publisher didn't care about quality of pages at all- Quality ended once I opened the pleasant hardcover binding.

Very interesting reading.
Very interesting reading. He gives a very different picture (and more accurate picture, I'm sure) of the Indians in North and South Americas than what we've been told in our history books. They could very well be the lost tribes of Israel.
