However, please not that if not kept in an airtight container, the shelf life will be significantly reduced to just a few months. Ensure your freeze-dried raw lasts by properly securing it in a airtight container. 

Rehydrate the freeze-dried food by using one of the following: 1 cup of warm water, goat's milk, or bone's broth for every 1 cup of freeze dried.   

Do not refrigerate.  

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.  

 As a starting point for transitioning from raw to freeze-dried, consider feeding 1/3 to 1/4 of the freeze-dried amount compared to raw before adding water. For example, a 50 lb. dog at 3% would require 1.5 lbs. of raw food or up to 8 oz of freeze-dried food daily, without water.
