"Brightly fruited and delicately fragrant with red apple, strawberry, apricot and floral aromas, it’s elegantly weighted and beautifully flowing in the mouth offering excellent fruit purity and vibrancy. Crisp-dry and highly appealing. At its best: now to 2023" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Dec 2021

"Everything you need in a Rosé is in this wine - fragrance and a core of light red berry fruits, freshness and a floral lift, aromas of strawberry and red plum, moments of tropical red papaya and fruit tea. On the palate - crisp, refreshing with some palate tension, a core of fruit and flavours that reflect the bouquet, some fruit spice and floral moments and a satin texture. Balanced, even and ready to drink from 2021 through end of summer 2023" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Dec 2021

"Bright, moderate berry pink, even colour throughout. The wine has an elegant and rich appeal on the nose, succulent red berries, cranberries and stonefruit melded with white floral and spice. Medium-bodied, vibrant aromas of red berries and cranberries interweave ripe stonefruit, unfolding rich white floral and lingering spice. The mouthfeel is creamy and possesses a stony phenolic grip, adding a savoury element. Lively acidity carries opulent floral fragrances to a lengthy finish. This is a textural, juicy rosé with red fruit and rich floral aromas, a chewy palate that salivate for food accompaniment. Match with beef carpaccio and pork terrine over the next 3 years. Predominantly Syrah and a small percentage of Viognier from Gimblett Gravels and Te Awanga, pressed, limited time on skins, cool-fermented in tank" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Nov 2021

Fragrant aromas of strawberry and floral notes lead into flavours of delicious summer berries and white stone fruit. This dry styled Rosé shows good palate weight and fruit concentration and is held together by refreshing acidity on a finely textured palate.

Established in 2003, Elephant Hill is located within a stone’s throw of the Pacific Ocean on the idyllic Te Awanga coast of Hawke’s Bay on New Zealand’s North Island. The winemaking at Elephant Hill is driven by tradition while not losing sight of what innovation can bring to the blend. The winemakers aim is to make wines that are balanced, elegant and a true expression of the vineyards they come from.

A very warm and dry season with well above-average heat summation (1,360 Growing Degree Days), combined with below-average rainfall set the vineyards up well. Low yields gave rise to good flavour concentration and careful selections allowed us to harvest our Syrah and a small parcel of Viognier in excellent condition on the 17th and 23rd of March. Harvested from our “Stone” vineyard in the Gimblett Gravels and our “Sea” vineyard at Te Awanga.

The Syrah grapes were left to rest briefly on skins before being gently pressed. The gentle extraction of colour during this period has resulted in the wine’s delicate hue. Following a brief settling period, the juice was then cool fermented to ensure the preservation of fruit purity, freshness and aromatic intensity. Post fermentation the wine rested for several months before being blended with a small portion of Viognier. The final wine was lightly fined, filtered and bottled young to retain vibrancy.

Food Pairing: Serve lightly chilled and enjoy on its own as an aperitif or serve with antipasto, salads, mild flavoured white meats or perfect with classic Neapolitan style pizza.

Great piece of equipment. Worked for mouse, hard drive, and digital camera all into a laptop.
Works great. I used to plug in a mouse, an external hard drive, and an overhead Nikon digital camera for historic digitization of documents and books. It small and compatible and there were no connection or power problems. It feels well built and sturdy and the cord connection to the device is strong and flexible.

Great for retro emulation!
Got this for a retro emulation setup. Worked great. No issues whatsoever. Works on apple as well. Its a basic usb hub, but doesn't feel cheap. Got it on sale, which made it even better!

inexpensive usb3.1 gen 2 hub with PD
This USB3.1 gen 2 hub is well made, featuring VIA Labs controller (device id 2109:2822) and is made in China. It looks nice and performs according to the specs. I wish usb-c socket supported TB3/Alt DP cable to connect a display to it, but it is apparently made mainly for power delivery. I think the hub is a good value.
