Six Questions Your Lenny's Grill & Subs Franchise Pitch Deck Must Answer

We developed this franchise financial projections template in Microsoft PowerPoint using deep industry research to ensure every slide is practical and data-backed. All slides come pre-populated with realistic figures, such as a Year 1 revenue target of $725,000 and a clear 7-month path to breakeven. You can fully edit these numbers to match your specific site and local labor costs while keeping the professional structure intact.

Market Timing and Local Need

<

The local market needs a premium lunch option that doesn't sacrifice speed for quality, especially in high-traffic commuter zones. This franchise unit expansion strategy for high-traffic corridors targets the 'time-starved' professional and student who demands fresh, made-to-order meals delivered with world-class efficiency.

Strategic Market Fit

  • High-volume transit corridor demand
  • Speed-optimized service protocols
  • Community-centric 'Local Hero' marketing
[dynamic_pic9]

The Solution and Advantage

<

This concept offers a transparent dining experience where meats are sliced and grilled in direct view, ensuring a level of freshness that pre-packaged rivals can't match. By utilizing a fast casual catering business model, the unit also captures high-margin B2B revenue that traditional retail-only shops often miss.

Operational Edge

  • Fresh sliced-to-order meat transparency
  • Grilled-to-order Philly cheesesteak specialty
  • Integrated mobile kiosk ordering tech
[dynamic_pic10]

Target Audience and Market Size

<

The primary opportunity lies in the 30,000+ students and dense corporate population within the immediate trade area. Here's the quick math: with $725,000 in Year 1 revenue and Philly cheesesteaks accounting for $250,000 of that mix, the local demand is significant and diversified.

Market Opportunity

  • 30,000+ local student population
  • High-density corporate lunch segment
  • $50,000 Year 1 catering potential
[dynamic_pic11]

Revenue Streams and Unit Economics

<

Revenue is driven by high-volume retail sales, a robust catering strategy for fast casual restaurant franchises, and digital loyalty incentives. At a 14% initial food cost and 8% total franchise fees, the model is built for scale, though Year 5 is when the $1.23M top line truly starts to drive significant EBITDA.

Financial Drivers

  • 6% Royalty and 2% Marketing fees
  • 14% Food and ingredient costs
  • $10,000 monthly prime location rent
[dynamic_pic12]

Competitive Edge and Moat

<

The unit wins by combining the speed of fast food with the quality of a sit-down deli, creating a defensible 'middle ground' moat. While local sub shops rely on pre-sliced meats, our operational plan template for fast-casual food businesses emphasizes the 'theatre' of fresh preparation to build customer trust and loyalty.

Defensible Edge

  • Superior throughput during peak hours
  • Exclusive university and corporate partnerships
  • Geo-fenced mobile advertising strategy
[dynamic_pic13]

Funding Needs and Milestones

<

Total startup capital covers the $25,000 franchise fee and $200,000 in leasehold improvements to ensure a premium brand experience. We expect to hit breakeven by July 2026, just seven months after launch, which is a critical milestone for stabilizing cash flow before scaling to a $1.2M annual volume. Break-even is a sprint, but payback is a marathon.

Investment Milestones

  • $340,000 initial CapEx for build-out
  • 7-month target to operational breakeven
  • $103,000 projected EBITDA by Year 5

Finance: update unit break-even and payback model by Friday.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.

Madison Deserved Better
Format: Kindle
Madison was a beta...except she wasn't any longer. She was a late presenting Omega. And she was struggling. She was tall and thin, not tiny and curvy. She was opinionated. She was everything an Omega was not. After suffering through her first heat, her friends took her to Ardor, a club where Omegas came to safely find Alphas. She's not expecting much but then she connects with a sexy beta. And when she meets his Alphas, they set her body on fire. Maybe, she's found her no-strings-attached heat pack. Maybe, she's found something more. I could not connect with the characters in this book, so their story never resonated with me. And there was no love story; there was sex. Grey made it clear from the beginning that he had a true love and it was his beta boy, Rian. He went so far as to reassure Rian “Say the word, I’ll never touch her again. Lucas can put the babies in her. I only need you, beta boy”. So, Madison was there for babies, no emotions needed. Nice. No, thank you. I want the Omega to be the center of their world, not an incubator. Lucas and Rian weren't any better. After her heat, they let her leave. Not one of them made her feel valued. No one gave her a reason to stay or even offered a cuddle. And the sex didn't even come across as mind-blowing. Madison deserved better.
