The Traditional British Hedging Mix is crafted from 7 native hedging species that have shaped the British landscape for centuries.  These time-honoured plants bring year-round interest through changing foliage, blossom and berries, while supporting local biodiversity.

The mix is composed of hardy, adaptable species that require minimal maintenance and naturally attract birds, butterflies and beneficial insects, helping to create a healthy, thriving ecosystem. It is suitable for a wide range of soil types, including loam, light-medium clay, neutral soils, and those that are slightly acidic or slightly alkaline. It grows best in moist, free-draining ground. It is not suitable for very dry soils, strongly alkaline, waterlogged sites or heavy, poorly drained clay.

If some species become unavailable, they will be swapped out for another appropriate species.
