Uto Balmoral has reimagined the classic childhood characters from Snow White, the dwarfs, in a collection for Seletti called Gummy. This collection consists of three versions: the dwarf who works, the one who spies, and the dwarf who dreams. Uto Balmoral captures the poetic and real life images of every creature, whether human or animal, by emphasizing their active nature, curiosity, hobbies, and inclination to dream. The table lamps, Working Gummy, Dreaming Gummy, and Snooping Gummy, combine fairytale imagery with practicality. These lamps are reminiscent of Wonder Times, a design icon from Seletti, and feature a glass diffuser shaped like a colorful chewing bubble. The eccentric and kitschy decorative table lamps are designed to be admired as sculptures even when switched off. Uto Balmoral's signature humor and style are evident, capable of surprising and unsettling at the same time. The Working Gummy, made of resin, resembles a small dwarf ready to head to the mine with a shovel on his shoulder, portraying the nonconformist of the group, someone who doesn't miss the chance to fantasize and take life lightly. The technical details include an included bulb type E14 / 2 W / 2700 K / 185 Lumen, Class III, IP20 dimmable, Type Z attachment, and a flexible 2.5-meter long cable.
