常滑焼の陶芸家・前川淳蔵さんが手がけた白極平急須は、煎茶や中国茶を丁寧に楽しみたい方のために生まれた一品です。
大理石のような、唯一無二の白
一見「白い急須」に見えますが、手に取ると印象が変わります。クリームがかった柔らかさと、グレーの陰影が混ざり合う、まるで大理石のような深みのある白。同じものは二つとない、ろくろ成形ならではの表情です。
煎茶・中国茶に最適な「平型」フォルム
従来の横手急須より扁平なシルエットは、少量のお湯でじっくり茶葉を開かせるのに理想的。実用容量120mlは、工夫茶（功夫茶）スタイルや、煎茶の一煎一煎を丁寧に楽しむ飲み方にぴったりです。蓋と胴の密閉性も良好で、注ぎ口のキレも心地よく、お茶の時間をストレスなく彩ります。
手仕事が宿る、やさしい曲線
把手から注ぎ口まで、どの角度から見ても流れるような曲線美。ろくろで一つひとつ成形されるため、手のぬくもりが感じられます。茶盤に置いたとき、その佇まいだけで茶席が整う、そんな存在感があります。

愛知県常滑市で生まれる常滑焼は、日本最大の急須生産地として知られます。数百万年前に東海湖の湖底に堆積した粒子の細かい土は、急須作りに理想的な素材。江戸末期から続く朱泥茶器の伝統と、「擦り合わせ」と呼ばれる蓋と胴を精密に合わせる技術が、今も職人の手に受け継がれています。

Excellent athletic socks

Solid athletic socks at a great price. Not too thick, not too thin. Second time I've purchased them. They last longer than most socks I've used in the past too.
Only concern is the sizing. I may be reading the sizing chart wrong, but for my size 13 feet it says XL are the correct sock size. I've ordered Large twice and they're perfect. I would imagine the size Large socks would also fit up to size 14 shoe, but probably need to go with XL if foot is lager than 14.
