This timber has been air dried and seasoned for at least 4 years and has reached an EMC of approximately 8%.
Blemishes/Defects: as seen in the photos there is one main inclusion on the back set, however the piece is large enough to avoid it. The side set has less figure than the back set. This set has been priced accordingly.
Disclamer: It is recommended that the luthier ensure that the timber has reached the appropriate EMC for their environment and application, and is stabilised to their working conditions before glueing. Highly figured timber can be difficult to work with, particularly when bending sides or planing. We will not be liable for damage or breakages of the timber during construction.
