There is a particular kind of design confidence that abandons the rectangle entirely — that finds its form not in the geometry of a drawing board but in the organic, flowing shapes that nature has always drawn more beautifully than any designer. The Uppsala Coffee Table was designed in that spirit. A nesting set in solid wood where a free-form, cloud-like top flows between two lobed surfaces — each curve deliberate, each edge softened, the whole composition sitting in the living room with the settled, grounded presence of something that was always meant to be exactly this shape. Conical turned wood legs carry the warm grain of the timber from the top to the floor, grounded by circular metal base plates that bring the same warm neutral tone to the edge band of the smaller table.
