Finalist for the 2026 PEN/John Kenneth Galbraith Award for Nonfiction

A Time Must-Read Book of 2025, An NPR Books We Love Most pick, A Tribal College Best Native Studies Book of 2025, and a 2026 Great Reads from Great Places Pick

From award-winning journalist Joseph Lee, a sweeping, personal exploration of Indigenous identity and the challenges facing Indigenous people around the world.

Before Martha's Vineyard became one of the most iconic vacation destinations in the country, it was home to the Wampanoag people. Today, as tourists flock to the idyllic beaches, the island has become increasingly unaffordable for tribal members, with nearly three-quarters now living off-island. Growing up Aquinnah Wampanoag, journalist Joseph Lee grappled with what this situation meant for his tribe, how the community can continue to grow, and more broadly, what it means to be Indigenous.

In Nothing More of This Land, Lee weaves his own story and that of his family into a panoramic narrative of Indigenous life around the world. He takes us from the beaches of Martha's Vineyard to the icy Alaskan tundra, the smoky forests of Northern California to the halls of the United Nations, and beyond. Along the way he meets activists fighting to protect their land, families clashing with their own tribal leaders, and communities working to reclaim tradition.

Together, these stories reject stereotypes to show the diversity of Indigenous people today and chart a way past the stubborn legacy of colonialism.

Great Mouse
I normally use the Logitech M325c. I've gone through dozens over the years. It works very well, but they seem to wear out fast; the wheel scroll is what fails. I decided to give the Amazon Basics a try. So far, it looks, feels, and functions the same as the Ltech; it doesn't have the fun colors, but if it holds up longer than a year, it's a fair tradeoff. I will revise this review if things change in the future, but as of now, I would recommend the Amazon Basics and will replace the other Ltech's when the time comes.

Works great!
Color: Blue
The mouse gave me a little trouble when it was in the back port of my pc tower, but worked perfect when i plugged it into one at the front. The light was flickering for "low power" despite new batteries being in it, but worked great after playing with it for a few minutes. The mouse is really easy to work with and is silent, which is nice when you're in an atmosphere with other people. I found it fit well in my hand and didn't cause any discomfort. i believe it to be reasonably priced for the design.

Great little mouse for a low price
Color: Purple, Color: Purple
For about $10 this was a great little mouse! The buttons are super quiet and the shape seems comfortable. I work from home and I bought this as a last min I need it tomorrow kind of deal. I guess I should have looked into the description more as this is a tiny little mouse. I've gotten more used to it as the day goes on, but I am definitely ordering something bigger. This will make a fine little back up mouse though. PROS: Super quiet Adjustable pointer speed button Nice shape Accurate color CONS: Super tiny It goes into sleep mode a bit fast for me personally and then takes (what feels like) forever to wake back up again (probably about 30-45 seconds,
