This 18k gold ring was designed by Laurence Martin Kling and features a 2.6 carat marquise brilliant diamond. Kling’s iconic designs often incorporated boomerang-like shapes and sculptural, organic forms. Built around its incredible diamond, the ring’s sculptural setting creates a yin-yang effect. Two small v-shapes fold over the stone like tabs, allowing you to see the full beauty of the elongated marquise. The bottom sides of the setting are scalloped so that the entire diamond is visible from all sides and the stone appears to be floating.
Lawrence Martin Kling (1921-2014) was a California studio jeweler, known for his hand-wrought mid-century modern designs. The ring dates to the 1950’s, and we believe it is a one-of-a-kind piece designed specifically for this large, marquise brilliant diamond. The ring comes in the original Lawrence Martin Kling 1950’s box.
The diamond comes with a GIA Jewelry Report ASYYO. This is for a stone graded in the jewelry mount. It states it measures 16.5 x 7.07 x 3.85 mm, for a TCW of 2.60 carats. It is a marquise brilliant, SI1 - SI2 in clarity and D- E in color.
The face of the ring measures approximately 3/4” x 3/4”. The ring weighs 5.46 grams. Marked as 18k.
Owning this ring is owning a piece of Modernist jewelry history. This ring is an iconic design and exemplifies everything good about Modernist jewelry.

Great socks
Size: Large, Color: (002) Black / Black / Castlerock
These are the only socks I’ll wear when working. They are so soft and comfortable. They are thick and heavy duty, and don’t wear fast. The fit snug and perfect. Good warm with a little compression for being on your feet all day.

Good boot sock
Size: Large, Color: (001) Black / Black / White
Used these for over a year now. They cover your calf and really don’t move from that spot. Very comfortable.

Okay But Not Worth The $$$
Size: Large, Color: (390) Marine Od Green / Marine Od Green / Baroque Green
Standard athletic sock. Cheaper ones are available through soooo many sources. UA seems to mean more expensive.
