HISTORY ASPECTS:
The Lockheed C-5M Galaxy, tail number 68-0226, served proudly with the New York Air National Guard’s 105th Airlift Wing based at Stewart Air National Guard Base. As one of the earliest models of the Galaxy, this massive airlifter was designed to revolutionize the U.S. Air Force’s ability to move oversized cargo and heavy equipment across the globe. Introduced during the Vietnam War era, the C-5A provided unmatched strategic airlift capability, carrying tanks, helicopters, and troops over intercontinental distances without refueling. Aircraft 68-0226 exemplified this mission, participating in both peacetime humanitarian efforts and major military operations worldwide.
Throughout its decades of service, the C-5A 68-0226 played a vital role in numerous conflicts and global missions. It supported operations during Desert Shield and Desert Storm in the early 1990s, delivering critical military supplies to the Persian Gulf region. Later, it was instrumental in transporting equipment and personnel for Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Beyond combat zones, the aircraft contributed to humanitarian missions—ferrying relief supplies following natural disasters and supporting U.N. peacekeeping efforts. Its enormous cargo hold, capable of carrying over 250,000 pounds, made it indispensable for both national defense and international aid missions.
As part of the New York Air National Guard, C-5A 68-0226 represented a cornerstone of U.S. airlift operations. The 105th Airlift Wing operated the Galaxy with precision and pride, embodying the Air Force motto of “Global Reach, Global Power.” Before being retired from active service, the aircraft logged thousands of flight hours and countless missions that demonstrated the reliability and endurance of the C-5A platform. Its legacy continues through upgraded successors like the C-5M Super Galaxy, which carry forward the same mission of global logistics and rapid response.
This 1:400 scale model perfectly replicates the immense power and distinctive profile of this legendary aircraft. Featuring finely detailed markings, authentic Air National Guard insignia, and precision craftsmanship, it’s a must-have piece for collectors of military aviation history—honoring one of America’s most iconic strategic airlifters.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.
