With a micron range of approximately 26 microns and a staple length of about 3.5–4 inches, Corriedale wool offers an excellent balance of softness and durability. The fiber drafts smoothly for hand spinning while maintaining enough structure for felting and textile work.
Prepared as combed wool top, the aligned fibers allow for consistent drafting on spinning wheels and drop spindles. Each shade can be spun individually for solid yarns or blended together to create gradients, marled yarns, and subtle color transitions.
