Untold Stories is an imagined building in which every floor is a bookshop and every window is warm. The composition rises without end — arched openings, glowing amber interiors, wrought iron balconies, bookshelves glimpsed through glass — painted in the deep greens and burnt ambers of a great library at night. Gold leaf has been applied to specific architectural elements: balcony railings, decorative gilt details, the points where interior light meets structure. On the finished piece it is substantial and textured, catching light with real weight. The piece is signed by the artist, and the hand embellishment means each example is individually finished — the gold leaf varies in placement and texture between them.
