The book features new texts by Chris Fite Wassilak and Michael Ned Holte, an interview between Kristin Posehn and curator Aurora Tang, as well as full color documentation of the exhibitions architectural sculpture, digital studies, and research process.
Inverted Dome is an artist's book that expands on ideas and experiential frameworks presented in the exhibition Kristin Posehn: Inverted Dome at MAK Center for Art and Architecture in Los Angeles.
The book features new texts by Chris Fite-Wassilak and Michael Ned Holte, an interview between Kristin Posehn and curator Aurora Tang, as well as full color documentation of the exhibition’s architectural sculpture, digital studies, and research process.
Designed by Salome Schmuki and published by New Laconic, Inverted Dome was handmade and assembled by the artist in her studio in a limited edition.
Kristin Posehn is an artist based in Los Angeles. She received a Ph.D. in Sculpture from the Winchester School of Art, Winchester, UK, and held a two-year research and production residency at the Jan Van Eyck Academie, Maastricht, NL. Her work has been commissioned by and exhibited at the Bonnefanten Museum, Museum De Paviljoens, Brooklyn Historical Society, Netwerk Center for Contemporary Art, and other institutions.
Kristin Posehn is an artist based in Los Angeles. Material feels sturdy and was a perfect fit compatible for my iPad. There's adequate grip and padding for a comfortable yet slim feel. Magnets hold it close and in one position when propping it up for watching landscape videos. Back is translucent as advertised. Solid product, put it on as i opened my new ipad for immediate protection. Perfectly safe blind buy if you're also getting that 'frequently bought together' suggestion from Amazon.

Bright & Pretty Hot Pink.

Very pretty and bright. It’s thick and great quality. Strong grip and doesn’t come off easily. Easy to clean when it gets dirty. It also has a nice backing. I prefer the transparent bright pink backing than the clear version. I love the strong magnetic for when I position it upwards. It can be positioned downwards too.
