About the Author and Illustrator
Desarae Hillyer is a Meditation Guide who builds personalized meditation routines, rooted in unconditional love, and Ancestral Guidance. She found her love of meditation after 20 years struggling with anxiety and not truly understanding herself. When Desarae found meditation, she was intimidated at the beginning but found the courage to take the deep dive into her subconscious world, and there found immense beauty. Through meditation practice, Desarae was able to accept and fully love herself for the first time in her life. She fell so deeply in love with herself, and all that supported her, that she began the journey of opening her heart to others to share what she had discovered. Through the practice of creating Meditation Art, Desarae found unconditional love for all parts of herself, and was able to extend that same love to others. This art deck was made with the intention of sharing that journey, and all she has learned along the way. Finding immense healing through self-acceptance, fully seeing, and loving ourselves. This is the legacy Desarae wants to leave for her daughter, and it is what our ancestors dreamt of for all of us. This deck helps reconnect you with your inner knowing, ancestors, love, true joy, and purpose.
