Reproduction of Coffee and Co Step 04A I by Janelle Penner
Janelle Penner — "Coffee and Co Step 04A I" is a compelling example of contemporary typographic art that bridges the gap between functional design and expressive visual poetry. The work aligns with the broader tradition of modernist typography, particularly the influence of mid-century graphic design, where form and function are inextricably linked. Penner employs a restrained yet evocative palette of warm, earthy tones—burnt orange and deep brown—that evoke the sensory experience of coffee, grounding the piece in a tangible, almost tactile reality. The composition is structured around a geometric grid, with letters arranged in a rhythmic, overlapping pattern that creates a sense of dynamic balance, reminiscent of early 20th-century constructivist principles. This deliberate organization, combined with the textured, hand-drawn quality of the lettering, introduces a human element that contrasts with the machine-like precision of the grid, creating a dialogue between the artisanal and the industrial. The artist’s use of negative space is masterful, allowing the viewer’s eye to rest and the text to breathe, enhancing the piece’s minimalist aesthetic. In its context, the work reflects a cultural shift towards valuing the aesthetics of everyday rituals, transforming a common object—coffee—into a subject of contemplative beauty. Its interpretive significance lies in its ability to elevate the mundane, inviting viewers to pause and appreciate the quiet elegance of the ordinary, a hallmark of contemporary design that resonates deeply within the global discourse on modern living. For more art by Janelle Penner click here.

Size: 5 Big Kid, Color: Blue/Turquoise/Pink
The 5 is the same as the 4 and a half. I used to write on ankther web site after I got each pair and I had good luck when i wore them. Saucony knows how to helo me. These boys, as i affectionately call them, are adorable. I have to wait til April but wanna start wearing them now. Couldnt ask for better. I am eternally grateful for the help Saucony gives me. I wouldn't be alive without my workouts and they know it. Thank you and I bless you. ❤️❤️❤️🕊️🕊️🕊️

Nice shoes, good price.
Size: 4 Big Kid, Color: Mint/Purple
I ended up sending these direct to my kid at sleepaway camp and thankfully they fit well and have stood up well despite her rugged use of them. Most impt to me, they have RUBBER soles, not that cheap styrafoam mascarading as a sneaker sole.

Run Large
Size: 2 Little Kid, Color: Turquoise/Navy/Purple
We love the Saucony brand for quality, but my child felt the Saucony boys Velocer a/C (Little Kid/Big Kid) ran large. She is a true 2, but the 2s fit too long in the length and width so we returned.

Laces coming off
Size: 5 Big Kid, Color: Blue/Turquoise/Pink, Size: 5 Big Kid, Color: Blue/Turquoise/Pink
Cute and comfy but the laces are coming apart after two weeks of just wearing them to school and home. We got a measly 10$ refund for our troubles 😑

Are holding up great, but needed the wide
I bought these shoes for my daughter to wear to kindergarten. They wear navy uniforms and she loves pink so I thought these were perfect. I ordered her size according to the size chart (but didn’t check width because she’s never needed wide shoes in the past). The normal width were too tight on her toes but the length was right. I returned them for the wide and they are perfect. 2 months into school they still look brand new. Just be sure to check both length and width. I printed a measuring guide from Saucony’s website.
