Available in two natural colours, this bed is perfect for dogs who love the great outdoors, tend to “dig” on their bed or love to eat their treats on their bed. Our Outdoor bed is ideal for dog kennels, farm dogs, pig-hunting dogs etc. However, we do not recommend leaving this bed out in the rain or frost as it is not waterproof, only water-resistant.

The Outdoor Bed can still be used indoors as a luxurious everyday bed for your dog without compromising the benefits of wool, design, or functionality. The main difference between our “Original Dog Bed” and The Outdoor Bed is that The Outdoor Bed has a single layer of wool inside - rather than a double layer.

You can also use our Outdoor Bed covers and put them over your pre-existing “Swag Bed” as the bed sizes are all the same.The Outdoor cover can be put over our Original 2-layer bed BUT only if your bed is a couple of years old and has compressed a bit.

• Small: 70 x 50 cm
• Medium: 89 x 70cm
• Large: 110 x 89cm
• Extra Large: 125 x 89cm

Option to add a waterproof mattress protector inside the bed, this is recommended if you are using the bed inside a crate with a puppy or incontinent dog.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

It is important to air the bed regularly and to flip it as often as possible. Wool naturally draws moisture away from your dog's body and regulates its temperature. So it needs air to circulate around it to dry it out.
As the wool isn’t designed to get wet - As mentioned, do not leave your bed outside in the rain or frost. We recommend that you purchase one of our waterproof mattress protectors if you are using the bed for puppy crate training or have an incontinent dog etc.

Outer Cover:

• Cold delicate machine wash on a cool cycle (or hand wash) We recommend using our Life of Riley "Laundry Wash"
• Hang inside out to dry in the shade (not direct sunlight) - Do not dry in the dryer.

White Insert Mattress /Cushion:

• The inner mattress can be spot-cleaned only. DO NOT remove the wool from the white inner lining and DO NOT machine wash the inner.
• The zip is only there for when they are manufactured, it is not designed to have the wool removed.
• The inner can also be sprayed with nature’s miracle/odorex if needed to remove any stains or odours.
• As the bed is natural It is important to air the inner mattress regularly in the sunshine whenever you wash the cover. Make sure to dry outside properly before putting the cover back on.
