How to serve
Warm before serving — 5–7 minutes in a 350°F oven, or 30 seconds in the microwave (microwave loses the crisp factor). The pastry should be lightly warmed and the guava filling should be soft and aromatic.
Classic Cuban breakfast pairing: 1–2 pastelitos with café con leche. The buttery pastry + warm guava + creamy coffee is the iconic Cuban-American breakfast.
Party setup: Plate the 12 units on a platter. Make a fresh pot of strong Cuban coffee. Have small plates and napkins ready. They disappear fast.

Storage
Best within 3–5 days of arrival. Keep at room temperature in their packaging. Freeze any uneaten ones — wrap individually, freeze up to 2 months, and reheat from frozen in a 375°F oven for 10–12 minutes.
