Well, now you can. With the Woodpeckers HexScale Rule, you get six different graduations in one handy rule. Those of us old enough to remember when woodworking plans were drawn on a drafting table instead of a computer will also remember a triangular rule that was graduated with several different ratio scales and a normal inch scale. Woodpeckers has borrowed that shape to give you the six most useful graduations for woodworking all in one tool. Measure from right to left and left to right in inches or millimeters and locate the center of anything in either system. Not only does HexScale put all the rules you need into one, its distinctive shape gets the laser-engraved scales right down on your material, virtually eliminating parallax viewing error.
In day-to-day layout work, left-to-right is the most familiar to woodworkers. With zero at the left edge of the rule the scale increases toward the right. Occasionally, a measurement needs to start from the right side, instead of the left. A familiar example of this is your table saw, where most often you need to measure from the rip fence on the right to the edge of the blade.
Whether for hardware mounting or joinery, woodworkers often need the center of a board. A centering scale takes all the math out of the equation. Just adjust the rule so the same measurement lines up on both edges and the zero will be at the exact center of the material. You can then either mark center or layout points the same distance on either side of center.
All three options mentioned above are on the HexScale in both inch and metric graduations. The scales are organized to help those of us trying to become fluent in metric. If you’re looking at a scale in inches, roll the HexScale one time and the equivalent metric scale will replace it.

Floating Shelves

I purchased a set of white floating shelves for my bedroom a couple months back, and I must say, they have definitely added a touch of modern elegance to the space. The package came with all the necessary hardware, including sturdy brackets and screws, ensuring a hassle-free setup experience. I will say that the wall anchors included are not the best quality and I used a third party set.

Good Product

Well designed and sturdy. Though not real wood I think they will last. It took me an hour to install the first shelf. That was all on me. I was slow measuring and placing the shelf bracket. I kept dropping the level and doing other crazy things. But the second and third shelves were easy after I learned what I was doing. Even though the screws, etc were provided I used Easy Anchor drywall anchors rated at 50 pounds. Just drill it in the sheet rock then screw the screw through the hole in the bracket until it clicks, (you have to listen). That means the ends of the plastic anchor flips out like a toggle bolt. Continue tightening the screw and that is it. Think I read somewhere that the board wobbles. These were tight as could be and no wobble.
I did learn to only "tighten" just one end of the bracket sort of snug and let it hang. Then raise it to level and mark the other holes with a pencil. Don't put the other screws in until you are sure you can see the plastic anchors' holes though the bracket. Then place and tighten all the screws. The only negative I saw was that they could have sent the same or similar anchors that I have. But they didn't call me. Guess they didn't have my number.

Quality Assurance Lacking

The first set I ordered was great; super easy to install, no issues. The second set I ordered the holes on the bottom of the shelves did not match up with the holes on the bar that secures the shelves to the wall so it was impossible to attach the shelves correctly. I'm still trying to figure out a solution.
